I agree with Bisonguy-good hikes. Elephant Back Mountain is a favorite of mine in that area for a fairly short hike. The hike to Shoshone lake is very nice. Last time I did that was a couple of years ago in late July and we used alot of mesquito repllant! Just depends on the year. I love Fairy Falls, but the hike to them is not my favorite. It can be hot, dry and crowded, and not much variety, but the falls are worth it if you have not seen them and the hike is level. Enjoy.
