at Lake Lodge were just completely remodeled last year and got compliments from the guests. There's no better setting than Lake Lodge for view of the lake from the rocking chairs on the porch, or some guests play games on tables inside lodge. There's no scenic views from cabins at either location. However, you would be 17 miles nearer the waterfalls staying at Canyon and a little closer to the northern sections of park. Close to Canyon for hiking would be Ribbon Lake from Artist Point, the canyon rims, Cascade Lake, & Mount Washburn. Near Lake are Elephant Back, Storm Point, and Natural Bridge hikes.
