Bridge Bay was destroyed by the fires probably the 1988 fire. Most of the trees were cut down to avoid falling on campers. Lots of stumps. That is based on a 2002 visit there, but I doubt it has changed much. After staying one night we left because we disliked it. I am basing this opinion of the site we were given at check-in. I don't think that you can pick your site in any of the reservation campgrounds.
As Hayden Valley Girl mentioned, Madison is nice, heavily wooded and I believe accepts reservations. There is also a dump station and showers (?) there. Canyon is also very heavily wooded. I think too wooded as it always seems dark in the loops. Canyon is also takes reservations. With the exception of Fishing Bridge, there are no hook-ups in any of the campgrounds. Also no generators allowed in the campgrounds.
I haven't stayed in Fishing Bridge since the 1960's, so I can't offer an opinion.
Norris is nice. The lower loops are the best in my opinion. Much more open and great views out over the creek and meadow. Usually elk and buffalo in the meadow. Again, no facilities or hook-ups.
There is also a campground in Mammoth. Haven't stayed there, but in driving by, it didn't look to bad. Not very heavily wooded and is in a mostly sagebrush area.
I don't recommend Slough Creek. Good fishing, but the 2 mile long gravel washboard road will rattle a MH to pieces. Pebble Creek in the Lamar Valley area is nice, but has somewhat limited access for large rigs. There may be 5-6 spaces that will take a 32' rig. Do you have a toad to get around so you don't have to break camp every time you want to go somewhere?
Don't even try Tower or Indian Creek. Both are for very small vehicles such as such as cars and vans.
Form Norris down, all are first cone first served. Stay at reservation CG the first night and then look for a good site elsewhere. Look to see who is leaving the next day and ask for their site and be there when they leave in the morning.
