Thank you to all responding to my April Trip Question. Hope is to leave from Alabama in time to make first trip to Glacier NP and beat the post-school rush...plus I see its their 100 year anniversary so I expect crowds more than normal. I know the NPS has to make rules based on the lowest mental common denominator of the population and everyone has to suffer the fools who can mess it up for everyone else. Maybe I can get backcountry camping permits and stay over at the trailhead pullouts...I'll ask when I get there.
