I see some comments that Fishing Bridge is the only campground with full hookups and a point of clarification - it is the only campground with ANY hookups. So if you want even electric hookups, that's where you will have to stay.

I definitely think you want reservations at that time of year. You don't mention the size of your RV - you will need to know the size of RV plus any additional vehicle when you make reservations. If you haven't seen the link below, it might help you make your choices - note you can't use a generator at Slough or Pebble Creek campgrounds.

If they can accommodate your RV length, I definitely think splitting your time between Madison and Canyon campgrounds may be your best bet.

Actually touring the park in an RV is not much fun - the roads are narrow and don't have shoulders, and many of the scenic pullouts and parking lots don't have space to park an RV. If you must tour the park in the RV, try to rent a teeny tiny one.
